Now, amidst Brexit and Trump/ Putin and Syria and climate change and everything, y’all might have missed the really big news of the last few years: scientists no longer think the sun has many billion of years of life left, and now think we’ll be lucky to get a billion (see https://medium.com/starts-with-a-bang/our-sun-is-lighter-than-ever-and-the-problem-is-getting-worse-43af017e2683). Some of you might think that’s not important at all; but some of us are thinking: time to get your skates on, humanity.
I belong to the latter camp.
